I am currently the lead designer of the flights product at momondo. I started my professional journey by designing and developing websites in my spare time around 10 years ago. Since then, I achieved a Diploma in Interactive Media before working in many areas of product including design for print, marketing materials, online marketing campaigns, design systems, rebranding, user testing and also front-end development.
My favorite aspects of design are innovation and problem solving. I enjoy the entire design process right from the initial problem statement or brief, through to delivery. During my time at momondo I have played a key part in a large project called ‘Reboot’. My role within the project was the restructuring and redesigning of the entire flights product, where I was able to come up with many innovative solutions to optimise the product and our own design system.
I am constantly looking for new challenges and am really keen to continue learning and adapting within my role.
Enough of the work chat...
I moved to Copenhagen in Feb 2016 with my wife and our little ginger cat Marvin. We instantly felt at home and are now settled in a lovely apartment in Amager. I like to stay active and some of the things I like to do regularly include going to the gym, playing football and badminton, and bouldering. It might sound like I’m very health conscious, but the truth is; all this exercise is to sustain my love of craft beer. I have enjoyed exploring the local beer scene here in Copenhagen and you can even find me volunteering with Amager Bryghus events from time to time.
